Biography
Pat Hidson is a Milwaukee-based painter, originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She received a BA from the University of Alberta with majors in art and English. After she moved to Milwaukee, she furthered her studies at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
Pat Hidson’s paintings are included in many private and public collections, including Art in Embassies, Oslo, Norway; Carroll College; Quadracci Corporate Collection; Marquette University; Associated Bank; Ann T Bowe Law Offices; University of Wisconsin-Waukesha; Foley and Lardner; Catholic Knights Insurance; Charles A Wustum Museum, Racine. She most recently completed a commission for Northwestern Mutual (Milwaukee).
Pat Hidson has had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Wisconsin Art, Lynden Sculpture Garden, Portrait Society Gallery, Mount Mary University, Grace Chosy Gallery (Madison), Tory Folliard Gallery, Gruen Gallery (Chicago), Katie Gingrass Gallery. She has been included in numerable group exhibitions including Beloit & Vicinity, Lynden Sculpture Garden, Watercolor Wisconsin at the Racine Art Museum, Alverno College, Anderson Art Center (Kenosha), Peninsula School of Art (Door County).
